For the moment, I'll be around. Have a little construction/painting job to finish, then starting CDL-A training, but after that, who knows? If cross-country trucking starts, I won't bother with the Net anymore.

Doubt that idea in 'what would you like to see' will go anywhere. All banners would need admin. approval, since HB is setup for children it could get ugly. There's been 'real' hardcore KP floating around here ocassionally thru the years, an a direct outside banner-link could lead anywhere. Nevermind linking to virus', spyware, worms, etc. ... It'd be too easy to abuse an option like that.

They're too many abusers out there. People would register a board, toss up a banner, and vanish without saying anything. It would be too easy to slip in the spam.

BTW - does Kevin ever look here? I saw him post perhaps once or twice while this board was getting on its feet, but never since. But whatshouldIexpect, there are only 3 'regulars' on this board.... [img]tongue.gif[/img] I'd really like to hear HIS viewpoints about current cinema (and apologise personally for missing Chiller, A SECOND TIME!!)

Kevin only looks when I tell him there's something specific for him to see here. He's 90, and remarkably computer savvy, but I still need to walk him thru the steps to get to each topic. Usually I just email him. Most of his fan mail comes via traditional mail or email, his bunch don't seem very into these MBs so, reved, we've taken over, haven't we! I can email him a personal note from you any time, no bother at all.

The banner idea is a good one, except that steven is getting $150+ per banner per 3 months already. I think that's what it said. Of course everything would have to go thru an approval process...you just reminded me...I have to go check David's free-for-all Links. You know about those? Any user can add a link they think may be of interest. I've only had to delete a couple, it's been pretty good so far.

My grandfather was suprisingly sharp, and he lasted until 103.

And where did you hear Steven was getting $150/3-month advertising with those banners?!? I'd guess that broken-image banner for Halloween Flowers has expired...? [img]tongue.gif[/img] Last I heard, he was paid by clicks, and got less than a frickin QUARTER per month, because nobody clicks!

Back to general movie chat; Watched Bicentennial Man again last night. Suprisingly, noticed it was directed by Chris Columbus (the first two Harry Potter movies). I'll have to search his filmography, but he's apparently got a knack for interpreting novels into movies. I believe BM may have gotten Asimovs approval if he were still alive.
